Overview

A DIY range people can buy as plans, then source the materials from MGM Timber.

We designed the products, created the plans and made the 3D renders and launch content. Benches, farm tables, planters and storage, all built around standard UK timber sizes.

The brief

Make professional furniture plans easy enough for everyday DIY.

The plans had to stay accurate for people with limited technical experience, and the products had to match what customers could actually buy from MGM Timber.

The idea

One connected collection, not a set of separate products.

Shared proportions and build methods make each product feel familiar. The plans lead with pictures, using exploded views and clear steps instead of technical language.

What we made

Design, build plans, CGI visuals and launch content, all from one studio.

Each product was modelled in 3D, then turned into exploded views, millimetre dimensions, material lists and clear instructions. The products were then physically built using those same plans.

The outcome

A DIY range that connects the product, the plans, the materials and the marketing.

Customers buy the plans and source most of the materials directly through MGM Timber, and the collection gives the Outdoor Living range a foundation for new products.

The collection launched through MGM Timber in early 2026 and has seen growing demand as the range expands.
